Το Χόλιγουντ φόρεσε τα καλά του για την Τελετή Απονομής των Βραβείων Όσκαρ 2021, με την προσδοκία η φετινή εκδήλωση να ήταν η τελευταία με περιορισμούς, λόγω της πανδημίας του κορονοϊού.
Οι προβλέψεις επιβεβαιώθηκαν σε μεγάλο βαθμό, με το Όσκαρ καλύτερης ταινίας να πηγαίνει στην ταινία “Nomadland” και τους Anthony Hopkins και Frances McDormand να κερδίζουν τα Όσκαρ α’ ανδρικού και α’ γυναικείου ρόλου, αντίστοιχα.
